Our Environmental Commitment

Here at Vin 909 Winecafé we use local, organic ingredients as often as we can. This means we buy mushrooms from Pennsylvania, not far flung places like Africa and South America. We get our fish and clams from captains who were out on the water this morning, using sustainable practices in approved watersheds. Our soups contain fresh ingredients, not out of season or untraceable foods full of pesticides. Our foods are house-made instead of the packaged kinds often filled with preservatives and mystery ingredients. We are committed to certified organic ingredients so the food you eat is made from foods you know.

We have been practicing this philosophy for years and work to continuously grow our network of partners to include local individuals, farms and companies that believe what we believe.
